The Minnesota Board on Aging (MBA) was founded in 1956 to provide information on services to seniors in Minnesota. The board has 25 members appointed by the governor. By working with Area Agencies, MBA proposes solutions to concerns of the elderly. Another responsibility of the MBA is to manage the funds of the Older American Act.
